Terms of use

About these terms
These terms apply to your use of embarkroutes.com ("Embark Routes", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Information on this site
Embark Routes provides travel planning information: route options, typical journey times, relative costs, event dates and tips. We work hard to keep it accurate, but travel information changes often and our route planner gives estimates, not live fares or timetables. Always check times, prices, availability and entry requirements with the operator or booking site before you book or travel.
Bookings and third-party sites
We don't sell travel or take bookings. Links on this site take you to third-party websites such as airlines, rail operators and booking sites. Any booking you make is a contract between you and that provider, and their terms and privacy policies apply. We aren't responsible for third-party websites, their content, prices or services.
Affiliate links and adverts
Some links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you book through them, at no extra cost to you. We may also show clearly labelled adverts. This doesn't affect which options we show or how we rank them.
Using our content
The text, design and guides on Embark Routes belong to us or our licensors. You're welcome to share links to our pages, but please don't copy or republish our content without permission. Place photos come from Wikivoyage and Wikipedia and are credited to their authors under their own licences.
Our liability
Embark Routes is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its information, including missed connections, changed timetables or price differences. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions? Email hello@embarkroutes.com.
